How do I make a website?

I want to make one but I don't know how. PLEASE HELP! And I don't understand webs.com I am not very good with technology or instructions. Can somebody explain better.

I created mine on webstarts.com for 3 something a month (bad thing is you have to pay for the full year right away) actually at first its free but if you want more than 5 pages you have to pay. Eventually Im hoping to but a real server and real sight so I can do anything I want. On the free and or cheap sites your kinda limited

I didn't know how to do a web site either, and just got more confused trying so one of mykids showed me how to do a blog andit's totally free and VERY easy. Mine is just about my family but you can check it out if you like, and then there is a link on there to start your own if you want. It's pretty simple but you can title each page. My friends and family love it.

i made mine on my mac in about an hour(www.greensweeps.net) but recently i tried making one without it and it's not very easy. the websites i go to are in such a tech/computer language that i have no idea what it means. i would like to start a forum for green businesses but can't figure it out.
