I have a free-range 10 month old Golden Laced Wyndotte and I want to show her in the Frederick Fair. I have never shown any of my birds and I'm clueless on how to prepare. I have done some reading and I know she has to be vaccinated and I do not know about any of the diseases the people were talking about! She is missing some back feathers ( darn rooster ) and Im wondering how long those need to grow. I'm also worried that she will get lonely so should I show 2 chickens? If you could answer just a couple of these questions I would really appreciate that.
