How do I sex chicks?

I have 16 chicks and they have 2 categories. About half have long tails and the other half have little to no tail. They are 10 weeks old

You could post pictures in here and we could help.

If you're looking to do it yourself, cockerels will have larger combs and wattles at that age, and they will usually be red. Pullets will have smaller combs and little wattle development, and they should be pale at 10 weeks. Also, cockerels will have thicker legs.

The first pic, I think I see a large comb, larger than I would expect at 10 weeks, so I would say cockerel. The only other one I can see clearly enough to say for sure is the last pic of the barred chicken. If 10 weeks old, that's a cockerel.
