My dh has a co-worker who has a very broody silkie hen, and she wants to hatch some of our americauna eggs. My question is this:
Since we are only getting about 1 egg per day (from the americaunas), how do I store them until we have the 5 that the lady wants??

Put them in an egg carton with the big end UP. Set the carton on the kitchen counter or somewhere out of the way. A couple of times a day, tilt the egg carton a bit and slide a book or something under the edge of the carton. Rotating the egg carton like this will keep the air cell from sticking.
