How Do I Sustain A Happy Flock?

My flock of seven mostly gets along, but there is a past bully among them. Sometimes she goes to peck someone for no apparent reason, but no real "bullying," especially when I'm around. What can I do to discourage bullying when I'm not there to intervene?

That isn’t bullying,there is almost no way to discourage what your witnessing,aka pecking order.Its normal for birds to chase others out of their way and or away from a feed spot they want.You can put pecking blocks and things such as that but their still gonna do it.

She has a reason you just don't know it Chickens don't have hands, they can't high five or flip the bird so pecking is communication. Don't stress over it.

I agree. Unless one is drawing blood, or pinning another one down and pecking mercilessly, let them be chickens. Chicken society is way different than human society, and they know the "rules" better than we do.
