how do i tame my silkie?

every time i try to catch her she runs away please tell me what to do

I know some use treats. My kids tamed some youngsters that had been raised by a broody and I had removed from the pen at about 4 to 5 months old. All they did was hold them and pet them and let them eat grass. Now they don't run and will even ride in a wagon and it only took a few weeks.

Once ours went broody it helped. The kids would pat and stroke her in the nest and it made it easy to catch her without stressing her chasing her. Food is always a great motivator too. Mine lives birdseed
