I recently discovered some mites on some of my 18 birds. I promptly emptied boxes, litter and treated area with light Sevin Dust and a bunch of DE. I dusted each one manually with the DE and redid the process 3 days later. Seems like no new evidence of mites, yet 2 of the birds have these sores/inflamed areas nearly void of feathers. One is directly beneath the vent, and the other is on the Roo on his back near the base of his tail. First off, are injuries mite related, and secondly, how does one treat these areas? Hydro Peroxide? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate ANY input.

First of all, the title of your thread is hysterical.
As far as treating their sores, I would first put a bit of antibiotic ointment(without pain reliever) on them and then, to discourage feather picking, put some Hot Pick or something like that on it.
As far as if the sores are caused by mites...I wish I knew the answer. I'm dealing with feather mites right now and am ready to
