I have a four month old orpington pullet showing signs of what I think might be wry neck. She is just hanging her head down almost to the ground. No other signs of any thing no off balance nothing but what seems to be lose if muscle control in her neck. Any advice would be a great help. Thanks

Wry neck can be common in chickens. It can be caused by a vitamin E or B1 thiamine deficiency, a head or neck injury, and is seen in a few diseases, such as Mareks, or other diseases that affect the brain or nervous system. Is she having any weakness of her legs or wings? I would give her 400 IU of vitamin E, available in softgels in human stores, and 1/4 tablet of human super B complex daily. Make sure that she can eat or you will need to feed and water her several times a day. Could she have been injured? Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? What do you feed her?

not vaccinated no they are still on medicated chick started due to not laying yet. As far as an injury does not looks like anything else is wrong. They do walk all over each other when nesting at night.

I would try the vitamins for a week or two. Make sure she is eating and drinking, and that no others are picking on her. If they do, separate her in a dog crate with food and water, but try to keep her with her flock. If she has any new symptoms, let us know here. Here is a video of feeding a chicken with wry neck:
