Okies well I'm making an incubator and my temps are ranging from 86 to 106 I was wandering how to keep it up at wat it is supposed to be I have a ziploc of water on the bottom and a shot glass of water in the corner and I'm using a hot water heater thermostat please help any ideas ?? 

Hot water thermostats don't work because the variance is so great that the plus and minus 6 or so degrees (which is usual for a hot water thermometer) is way to much of a temperature swing.

For under 500 watts, I'd suggest the Reptitemp500. Keeps my temps within a degree and it is plug and play. 25 bucks online right now.

Mm thanks I'll have too look into that lol will it attach to my Livy like my other thermostat?

I'm sorry, I have no idea what a Livy is...other than a Roman historian! XD If it is a light bulb or cermamic/wire heat source that plugs in to a standard outlet and is under 500 watts, then yes. The Repitemp actually handles two heat sources too which is nice, as I like to plug in two bulbs.
