this is how i say these breeds

brahma - Braw muh

cochin - coachin

wyandotte - wyan dot

lanshan - lang shin

beilefielder - beile felder

any others yall pronounce differently than me im curious

or ones you want to know how i pronounce

I pronounce

brahma - BRA-HA-MA
wyandotte - WON-DOT
cochin - COCK-IN

I don't know tho
I've also heard some people say LEG-URN for Leghorn. I say it LEG-HORN. :confused:
 
I say them about the same as you. While everyone is at it, what about d'Uccle? My brain adds an “n” and makes me think D-uncle.

That's right, but it's Bielefelder which I've always pronounced Beelfelder but I guess ( don't know about that one.

  • why-an-dote
  • bee-leh-fell-dur

I called them dun-culls at one point, but have since corrected to doo-clay.
