How do you candle Dark eggs?

I have 40+ Black Copper Marans eggs in my incubators. Some are on day 14 now, the rest in the other 'bator are on day 3. I have tried to candle the original group several times to no avail. I have used LED light, and brightest flashlights available and cannot see through the dark shells. Is there a trick or just sit back relax and hope for the best?

Yea, sit back and relax. Use your nose and give each egg a sniff test instead of candling to smell for duds that may be going bad.
