how do you collect your hatching eggs?

i was wondering how you collected and stored your hatching eggs because i only keep mine at room temp over night and then throw them in but then i have this huge long staggered hatch and i want everyone to hatch together so how do you do it and still maintain the integrety of the egg?

This site gives a lot of good information on storing eggs for hatching. You can easily wait a week from when you collect them until you set them. I store mine at room temperature.

i let my hens collect their own eggs and when they have enough they can sit on them. I like to let nature do what its good at doing.

Well, just grab them, KEEP THE BIG END UP te-he....(sorry porbly heard that afore) Well, I kept mine in my basement for about 8 hrs, the temp was about upper 50s?

Not much of a sweat, some people even put theirs in the fridge!!! (I wouldn't do that, though)
