How do you delete a thread

I'm confused on why you want to do this. The whole point of the BYC forums is for people to ask for advice from everyone. The experienced folks already go to their favorite forums and answer questions. If a lot of people start tagging or PMing them on even simple questions they're going to have tons of alerts to wade through. Seems kind of unfair to them.

As far as I know, the only option is to report your own post and ask the Admins to delete it.

Threads aren't deleted unless they are against the rules.

Amend your original post to include profanity and a couple of racist memes. It'll get deleted. You may also catch a ban but thats a subject for a different thread.

Just unwatch the thread. It'll stop giving you notifs when it's responded to

This is definitely NOT recommended.
It won't get deleted but would get edited and points could be issued.
