How do you delete a whole series from DVR?

I have several "series" that i do NOT want to record on my DVR anymore...
I know i can go through and delete them one by one from my list... and then even delete the main heading...
BUT when the next show airs,,it STILL records the show!
I AM hating American Chopper... they wont die!!..

Read the DVR instructions and it said to go to the show listing and hit record until the "R" isnt there anymore.... did it... the bad "R" goes away..
The shows are STILL recording when they air again....

Manage Recordings

Series Manager

Scroll to the series you don't want any more, hit the red button.
tab up to say "delete"

Red... are you tired of me and my "thingies" trying to help your technical difficulties yet? Tough! I want to try anyway!

Did you "unrecord" the same show every time on the list... the brief time I played around with one of those... you had to mark record for all the differet time slots it woud be coming on... so maybe you have to unrecord all those time slots too?

Or did you do a "my mom thing" and hit the record button so many times to make it unrecord... that it passed all the way through the options and selected record again, and you didn't notice as you closed the menu? Just sayin... cause that happens alot here

Step one: click on the show's info

Step two: Hit record Seris

Step three: Hit something about stop recording

Step 4: confirm that you have done step three

Step 5 Thank Gaited Horse. ( I do take checks, cash and money orders)
