How do you get male Emu to go broody if you’re collecting the eggs?

It gets below freezing at night here in Feb and March. So I have to collect the Emu eggs so they do not freeze.
I know with chickens you collect eggs and leave a fake egg in its place until the hen starts to sit. Then you replace the fake eggs with the collected eggs when broody. That way the eggs do not get too cold during colder temps before bird decides to go broody.
Is it the same with Emu’s?
I already collect the eggs when they lay them. But if I want the male to go broody, do I put fake eggs down? If so, what works for fake eggs? Baseballs? Faux duck eggs? Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Tina

Oh my goodness they are so beautiful😍! Thank you so much for the pictures. They look so cute and happy😄

If anyone on here has replaced eggs for Emu, please let me know what you used that the Emu would still consider eggs to go broody over….
