It's the local church who wants to save everyone who isn't EXACTLY them. It's at least once a week. They've been told about the sign. They do not care. We aren't them, we are wrong, we must be saved. Telling them DH is Jewish doesn't stop them, they need to save us all the more.
We've called the police. Doesn't stop them. At all. After all, we are wicken heathens who are going to burn in the eternal fires of hell. Other savers come back, only now it's the higher ones because clearly how horrible and heathenist we are for calling the police on their good soldiers.
We've tried ignoring them at the door. They sit and knock and knock and knock for over THREE HOURS.
They don't want to be respectful and reasonable, I do not have to be on my property.
So now instead of trying to be reasonable with them, I let the dogs act like aggressive mean beasts who could get past me in no time flat. DH and the kids won't answer the door. They don't want to speak to me long enough to spread their lies because the dogs may get out.
For the record, the sheriff says by now if they don't stop, we are welcome to let the dogs outside when they come up the drive.
