I was just wondering how or if you can tell if chicken eggs are fertile before incubating. Me and my family have had chikcens for about a year and are wondering if there is any way to tell if eggs are fertile before incubating. WE are a very rushed family so if they have not been firtised we don't want to try and hatch them. We have 3 RIR hens,1 Golden Comet Hen,1 Japanesse Bantam Rooster and 1 Golden Laced Wantolle Rooster. We have had them amost a year and they have been laying sence late July. We have also seen all the rooster on the girls.
