I hatched 4 RIRs. I'm not really supposed to keep roos but the township said it's fine if I don't get any complaints. I thought I had one rooster when I wing sexed them at day 2. Now I'm second guessing myself looking at their chunky monkey legs it looks like I might have two roos. They act pretty much the same. They walk around with a big puffy chest and are more curious than scared. One is definitely a roo, no question. The other had a darker head like the other two pullets and I thought her feathers were uneven when I checked day 2. They're ALL so stinking sweet and fight each other and my two cats and dog for attention (not physically fighting of course, just seeing who can stick their face closest to mine and get the most love). How do you pick and choose which to keep? How do you give one away? Where do you give them away to make sure they have a happy home where they can live out their lives.
The "roos" love massages cuddles when they're not chest bumping each other. I've fallen hard for them all and not sure what to do if I have more than one boy.
