How do you know if an egg is fertile?

i am wondering because i have all hens ( supposedly ) and they other day i was cracking open one of the eggs to eat and the egg had a little white spot in the embryo of the egg. I am just wondering if one of my " hens " is actually a rooster. If there is a rooster he is really quiet and not rooster like. i have yet to hear a crow from any of my chickens. Can someone please post a pic of a fertile egg and a non fertile egg so i can see the difference. Thank you....

All eggs have the white spot. You can tell fertility if there is a white ring around the white spot like a bullseye.

can you please post a picture so i will know what to look for. how big is the ring around the spot?
