How do you make a hen broody

How do you make a hen broody. I really want my favorite hen, a RIR named Big Moma to become a mother but she wont sit on any eggs. What do I do?

You can't really do anything to make a hen go broody. It's caused by their hormones. Some hens never go broody and if your RIR is a hatchery bird she probably never will since that has pretty much been bred out of hatchery birds.
