how do you make yogurt

I take a gallon of milk, pour a glass to drink, scoop 1/4 cup of plain yogurt into the jug, and then set it in a bath of 100 degree water for 5+ hours.

Then I take it out, put it in the fridge to cool, go to the coop, give the jug a good squeeze, and *SPLORT*! The chickens are happy.

(Actually, I usually use this method when I have to give the chickens meds. Buying large amounts of yogurt is expensive, but milk is cheap)
