How do you stop chickens from dust bathing in places they aren't supposed to?

I let my chickens out in our med-sized backyard to "Free-Range" around 3-4 times a week. Back in 2018, my flock of 8 (now 16) used to dust bathe in this unused garden on the side of our neighbors house, (she's a nice elderly lady who doesn't mind the chickens being in it) but now, they want to go to my houses garden, (that is used) and they are dust bathing it and killing the plants and flowers, is there a way to make them go back to the old unused garden, and start dust bathing in it again?

Fence off areas you don't want them in.

Without obstructing their access in some manner it would be easier to solve world hunger.

Keep it wet. They need dry dirt to dust bath.

Edit: Place a sprinkler on a timer to keep it wet, and/or turn it on when they're in the garden. They'll learn to stay away.

I tried everything. Even the rocks didn't deter them from sitting in the flowers. I even built a dust bath for them - which they use, but not exclusively. Finally had to fence off an area for them so I could have flowers and be able to mow the lawn without all the chicken divets.
