How do you tell how old a chicken is?

I have two chickens that I have absolutely no idea when they were born. Is there a way to tell how old they are?

What a great question, I'm sure I could tell the approximate age of a bird up to 14 months, but I'm going to check back for guidelines to aging older birds!
