how do you tell if you have a double-yolker

Easiest way is to crack it open. You can candle it also.

Please excuse my ignorance, but if you incubate a double yolker will you get twins or does the egg not develop correctly?

There has been some on here that hatched twins but they had to help them out of the eggs. I think most don't grow to hatching.

some times they develope , one baby or two some times they hatch with or without asstiance but its not a usuall thing, and if they make it to hatch they usually need help.

here's a double yolker you can see two shadows

here's the size difference, they can vary in size but are usually a lot lot bigger (double on the left)

you can obvioulsy see by cracking an egg!
