just make sure it can't constrict as they grow, their legs will probably still double in size as they grow. I wish I had made semething similar though especially when 2 seperate birds still managed to fly and get together, I had to use pictures and guess which was which so I've never used it but I was thinking some electrical tape with some of the sticky part covered with paper to not stick on the legs sort of like a dog collar just around the leg and made out of electrical tape which is durable. You can get green, red, blue black etc
