Hi y'all.
I have had my new baby chicks for 9 days now. They have adjusted well. I had two of them with pasty butt. One stopped (I think the Easter egger) after a couple days but one of my SW had an issue for about a week but looking good now :)

Anyway, mt light brown chick (i think is the Easter Egger) seems to be growing quite fast and has longer tail feathers than the Wyandottes...is this indicative to the bread or do I have a ROOSTER!!??

Thanks MP.
She is becoming my favorite and I would be disappointed if she turned out to be a he.

Can anyone tell me if my chickens are Rhode Island reds. I bought them from rural king and they called them hatcheries choice and said they where a meat bird.

You probably should post this in your own thread as you'll get more replies. But, the one in this pic^ looks like a cockerel, the other one looks like a pullet.
