How do you train chicks to come?

We have tried everything but they are scared of us, how do we make them come, we have mealworms but it still doesnt work.

I start handling my chicks from day 1 to adulthood. I also talk to them so they'd recognize my voice. I wear red, so they'd be more attracted to me since they like the color red. If they don't go by color they'll recognize your face instead.

I hold them every single day and I talk to them to so I dont know why they dont come, I will start wearing red.

You're welcome. These chicks recognized my voice, & face so the color red wasn't necessary.

Body language and position have everything to do with how animals respond to people. Are you moving too fast, too strong, too focused... All those will drive any animal (chicken, horse, dog...) away from you.
