how do you trane your hens to lay eggs in the nest?

I put golf balls in the nest hoping that would help but no eggs in the nest yet. What else can I try? the birds are 20 weeks old. They keep laying the in the dirt. Thanks Scotty

Perhaps the nest boxes are located in a place that is not good for them. They like dark , secluded, intimate nests.
