How do YOU transport your chickens????

Just wondering how you folks out there transport your chickens to shows and sales? Especially of interest is cages. What do you use?

You can use a cat carrier.

Go and buy those cardboard pet carriers, its alot less of a mess and safer for the chickens. Once they are done with it, you can either reuse it or throw em out.

when I carry larger orders of chickens, I use a rabbit cage like Havaheart cages and set the cage on a newspaper lined floor. I find this more messier and rather use cardboard carriers.....

I've used a cat crate to transport my chickens before. I'ts a useful way to do it!

For single large birds or a few small ones, I use a small wire cage. For more, good old cardboard boxes or 5 gallon buckets.
