how does dry air work

i have a little giant incubator is it good or do i need to invest on another to get better hatching.

I also heard of dry air but don't know how to do that.
any one knows that can help

This time of year, the relative humidity here is already 60-70% naturally. That is very moist. It is late spring and the humidity is high. There is no need of me to add water during the 18 days incubation period.

Once I see a pip on day 20, I do add just a wee bit. Then, as the chicks hatch, they are dumping a lot of moisture into the hatcher as they come out wet.

This is the essential thought behind dry incubation. Our hatch rates have risen substantially since adopting both the dry method and the use of an egg carton.

I once purchased an LG on sale, but returned it after taking a look at it.
