Thanks folks, I will try to get a few more shots - will get DH to help me so I can get some of his feathery feet. THey seem very feathery to me but then I don't know what they are supposed to look like.
Frodo is such a sweet bird. We had two other roos of the same type but one was meaner than heck and the other was pretty nasty too. They went in the pot but Frodo is a darling! I am planning on getting a few more cochins this spring as he only has one hen in his harem right now. I LOVE this breed. They are so sweet and gentle. I can't let any of my other birds eat out of my hands as I would be left with bloody stubs, but these guys are incredibly gentle even when excited by a yummy treat.
