How do I know if an egg has two yolks? What are the chances of getting some? I don't want to risk incubating an egg with two yolks then having some sort of problem with the chicks inside.

i am getting double yolk eggs, has anyone incubated their double yolkers?
i wish to incubated my own eggs. is 80 ambient temp too warm, until i collect enough?
i am planning on collecting around 15 eggs for incubation. instead of bothering JMF.
i guess i could just save and eat the double yolks. i think i can tell the difference from the weight. one in each hand. doubles are a little bigger.
i have had about 4 doubles. this is my second hatch on JMF cots.
i have collected 10 eggs in 4 days, from 8 hens.
i have two pens with 1 roo and 4 hens
94 degrees in the shade, i do have fans that i turn on at 90 degrees.
will probably get hotter in southeast texas.
thanks
I have only incubated once before as I am new to raising quails, but when I bought my eggs the guy gave me a double yolker. I knew the double yolker most likely wouldn't hatch after all the reading up I did on it, but I put it in the incubator anyway because I had lots of room. Afterwards I did an eggtopsy on it. The fetus developed until maybe around the day 6-7 stage and then died. I compared how it looked with quail egg developmental charts.bumping
