How early in the spring can you get shipped eggs

How early in the spring can you get shipped eggs to the northern states.
We are consitering not wintering any quails. Finding a dependable provider and starting over each year.
At this point it is just a conversation, but with the price of feed,electricity and our cold winters it is an Idea.
We were thinking we would get 50 eggs , hatch them, raise them up to lay eggs , divide into breeding groups and use 2 incubator to multiply them using continous hatches. In The fall everything would go in the freezer.
Would there be a down fall to this Idea?

It depends where you get your eggs from. I found the male don't mate as much when the weather is cold, which end up not fertilize.

Where up north are you? You could swing this, however you would have to wait till the temps warmed up enough for shipping. Depending where you are, as late as May. You don't want eggs to freeze during shipping. When your local day and nighttime temps are staying above freezing, upper 30's to low 40's would be the earliest to order eggs.
