How early to let broody hen hatch eggs

I'd like to let a broody hen hatch eggs this spring. How early in the season can I let her do this. I have a broody hen right now but it seems kinda early (cold) to hatch eggs and rear chicks. I'm in southern michigan. Thanks

Once you're convinced that she's convinced to raise a family, let her do it.
I had hens raise chicks in November before.

I have been letting my Hens hatch Chicks since January..... I live in Central Alberta , Canada.....Brrrr....
The Hen is the best at caring for her Chicks...She will keep them toasty warm.......
