Hello ,
I read that the smaller birds can fly higher than bigger birds .so my question is: if I was to put up a 6 foot fence can they still fly over it? Thanks.

I have had American Dominique large fowl fly to the top of a 6 ft fence. Which is why we now have an additional 2 feet of vertically placed netting...
The heavier the chicken, the shorter distance and heights they fly to, generally speaking. Each chicken is different. The EEs we have routinely roost in the coop rafters, which are about 7 feet up. The Dominiques usually don't any more, but they did before they started laying.
