Look at these little dorks!

I put this little makeshift perch in their brooder so they could start learning how to perch, and they do perch-- it's pretty cute! But, they also sleep like this. Silly chickens!

So cute!! When I put a perch in with my babies, they would sit on it and slowly drop their heads down as they fell asleep. Eventually they would have their little butts in the air and their beaks on the ground. Wish I had a camera.

Oh my gosh, that's adorable! Reminds me of finding my sons asleep in the oddest positions when they were toddlers... youngsters sleep so funny!

I once had a chick who insisted on sleeping with his head lying on the edge of the waterer. I was a basketcase the first week until I finally decided he wasn't going to drown himself!
