So I'm planning to try to hatch some eggs. I would like to see if I can hatch some shop eggs. I'm going to get some free range chicken and Quail eggs. How likely is it that any will hatch? Also how many eggs would I need to buy to get some chickens/Quail? (I only want a couple of each)

Unlikely unless you buy from a farmers market or similar that haven't been refrigerated. But maybe others will have different opinions.

Today I bought some free range chicken and Quail eggs. I've put them in a plastic box on my snakes heat pad in her tank. 3 times a day I turn them and spray them with water.

Hi, yes I got them from a grocery store, I know its unlikely any will hatch but I thought I'd give it a go.

I would think that fertile eggs would be marked as such...they are here, tho they are rare.
