How long after an internal pip usually does it take

Interesting question. Do you mean after they break the membrane how
long will it take to start breaking the shell? If so, my guess is it varies
just like the pip to hatch times vary. I've read they have up to a days
worth of air but that doesn't seem likely. Hmmm.
