How long after hatching would a momma hen accept a new baby chick

My hen hatched out 6 chicks last Tues/Wed and I've got a friend willing to give me a single little easter egger 2 days old.
What are the chances that momma will accept it? I do believe that the others would.

And since this single little ee didn't imprint with a momma hen.. would she now? How would that work?

Not sure that I'll try this, but just wondering.

Have you experienced this?

Might very well work; mine accepted some feed store chicks who were at least a week old. You won't know til you try. Put the new one under her at night.

If the new chick looks like the other ones then stuff it under there at night. If it looks completely different I wouldn't try it.
