How long after mating does it take for hen to lay an egg

My one hen/female turkey was laying on a nest but they didn't turn out so after a week of not being on a nest she started squatting for the turkey or even humans lol (turkeys are funny that way) but i have seen my Tom mate her 4 times in the last 4 days. So i was wondering when she will lay eggs again as i now have an incubator again

I think when she starts laying eggs again has a lot more to do with how long since she was sitting on a nest, and how long she was sitting on the nest. So an answer to those questions might help others give you better information. Squatting for the tom is a good sign, however. I would guess maybe in the next week.

Hope so out of the 4 types of birds i hatch out turkeys are my favorite.
