How long after pullet hatching one chick will she start laying?

My banty pullet hatched one buff laced polish chick. The chicks is 3 weeks and 2 days old. When will she start laying again. I read that often when hens hatch only one chick, that chick stays with mom untill adulthood, so Im confused. Thank you

They usually start laying again once they leave the chick to take care of itself.

She might start laying but still let the chick stay with her. Some hens do that too. You won't know what this one does until you see her do it
