How long after they start squatting do they start to lay?

can anyone help please , caught my bluebelle hen is 22 weeks old and has been squatting on and off for a few days now , How long after they start squatting do they start to lay? i have other polish chickens the same age and not caught them squatting yet , will they lay when they see the bluebelle and my silkie laying ??

I not sure how long it is. But it won't be much longer. And as for your others they will lay when their bodies are ready.
