How long before a hen can lay eggs?

I had my hen for about 3-4 months still waiting for her to lay her eggs.

Different breeds lay at different ages. For the most part, they will lay between 19 and 24 weeks. Should be any time for your gal!

I just got my first eggs today

and my girls are 21 weeks old.

If your hens free range, they may be laying somewhere else, as was possibly the case with mine.

I left my girls in all day, and voila! 2 eggs
