How long can a broody hen stay off her eggs for?

My hen has been sat on the eggs for a week now and we have fot fencing across the coop to keep other hens going in, but she has the back door to go out of. today I got back and she had climbed over the fencing and couldn't get back so was sad in the other nest box. The longest time she could have been off them for is about 8 hours, but I have no idea! could they still be alive if there is anything in them?

If they were fertile to begin with, they will be fine.
