How long can a hen brood before it becomes detramental to her health? I have a serama hen that has been at it for a while, but the other hens keep laying eggs for her to hatch like some kind of foster mom. Any way, the way I have it figured, she will be brooding an extra 2-3 weeks to hatch all the eggs...will that cause a problem, or can I just keep putting more eggs under my natural incubator?
