How long can a newly laying hen go without laying?

So, my pullets just started laying a few weeks ago. The only who was laying the most consistently hasn’t laid in 4 or 5 days. Can this be a normal thing?

Yes. I had a new laying puller a few years ago that laid her first egg, & didn't lay another a week later. She became a regular layer after that.

Yes, very normal. They really are not consistent for about a month. They will lay in funny places, like in the middle of the run, or off the roost, they will lay every day - then not, they will have wonky shells or no yolk, double yolks or rubber shells. All of these things tend to sort out, and are very normal.
