how long can chicken eggs be without heat

so one of my hens layed and sat on her eggs on top of something and yesterday 1 hatched and today I’m guessing it fell off and the hen also went down with the chick and she hasn’t gone up to her eggs and is just in the ground now.I put her in a cage with the chick and eggs and she seems to sit on the eggs now that she’s in there but my question is how long can chick eggs last without heat? The eggs were supposed to hatch today or tomorrow and so im not sure if they still are alive after the hen left them.They were probably left alone for like 9 hours.and I checked with a flashlight and the eggs still had veins

Sorry for the late response but I put the flashlight on the egg and the chick moved! I’m going to wait some days to see if the eggs hatch and update

Once the blood starts pumping in the chick, they generate quite a bit of their own heat. I had a hen set in October, dang brisk out side, got into the wrong nest, when I found them the eggs were cold, but I was advised to put them back under her, and I did and they hatched right on time.
