How long can eggs stay on the counter at room temperature?

Does anyone know how long a fresh egg can stay at room temperature?

Just recently I heard Martha Stewart say 4 days on the counter, if Martha does that, well good enough for Martha good enough for us

This is just about the ?? I was going 2 ask. I just found an egg under thee ferns that my chicks rest under 2 stay cool& so on. I have found a couple there B 4. I would say it cannot B more than 4 days , as I am on egg watch with hens that should B just startn'. Would it B safe 4 me 2 eat Or should I toss it ??
