How long can I keep an unfertilised ostrich egg in fridge before it is bad to eat

I just bought an ostrich egg on Oct. 27, 2013, to eat it. I want to know how many days can it be kept in the fridge before it is not good for consumption?

To eat on Oct. 27. 2014 ???? lol I think with all eggs, the sooner the better lol may keep to about a month...then it may start walkies and keep eveybody away lol
Why not make a nice omlette by just making a small hole and then decorate the shell... or sell it... and you may well get another egg nearer the time for you to eat.

So what you are saying is the expiry date of ostrich eggs if kept in the fridge is 1 month only?

Don't be sorry, English is my 4th language and live also in Uk now...
I think Ostrich eggs are no different for keeping then any other eggs...how would you eat it, scambled or Omelette ? ... can't be poached lol.. but try to safe the shell intact...Enjoy it ! lol
