My chicken is recovering from a predator attack about 5 days ago. She is doing a little better each day but won't eat on her own. I have been feeding her a little by dropper but only water with electrolytes, egg yolk and honey/cucumber water. How long can she go without having solid food?

It’s likely time to tube feed. Don’t panic! Imagine a straw inside a soda bottle. That is what you see when you look in the bird’s throat. Stick the tube down to the side, and the hard part is over. See? Not that scary.
I could show you a ton of pictures, but I like YouTube videos better.
Put feed and water (vitamins are a great addition!) into a blender. Use the biggest syringe (that’s the plastic part, not the needle), and a rubber tube (have any air hose from a fish tank? It’s not ideal though).
As soon as you can, get a better system.

First I would try feeding her a mash of chick feed, a lot of water, and a little cooked scrambled egg. Put it in a small bowl and hold it up to her beak. Sometimes finding the best tempting food helps, and trying it often. Tuna, chopped liver, and Friskies Pate canned cat food are some ones I have tried with success. Add water always to get more fluids into her. If that doesn’t work, then learn to tube feed. Tubing is quick once you get the basics.
